Supervision
Bachelor and Master Theses
We welcome students who are interested in writing their bachelor or master thesis at our chair.
Thesis topics should be based on your own ideas, and align with one or more of the following research areas:
- Business and human rights
- Sustainability governance of global supply chains
- Governance of natural resources
- Sustainable development
- Livelihoods in the Global South
- Political ecology
- Topics with a focus on Latin America (indigenous rights, food security, energy transition)
among others…
As part of our supervision agreement, students are required to attend the Colloquia (around two per semester) organized by the Chair in addition to meetings with the supervisor.
Methodological Focus:
At the Chair, we have a strong focus on qualitative methods. We particularly encourage bachelor and master theses that incorporate empirical data collection to address relevant research questions.
